Cole Slaw with Vinegar & Oil Dressing
Mix:
1 c. oil
1 c. cider vinegar
2 t. salt
1 t. celery seed (I add 2 t.)
Bring to a boil and pour over:
3 lbs cabbage, shredded (or 3 bags already shredded cabbage & 1 bag shredded carrots)
1 green pepper, chopped
2 medium white onions, chopped
2 c. sugar
Place in a sealable bowl and refrigerate for at least 3 days before serving. Turn the bowl upside down daily to mix. It will keep up to one month in the refrigerator. The longer it sits, the better it tastes.
