Hamburger Stroganoff

1 lb. ground beef

1/2 c. onion, chopped

1/4 c. butter or margarine

1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced

1 clove garlic, minced

2 T. flour

1 t. salt

1/4 t. pepper

1 can mushroom soup

1 c. sour cream

Melt butter in a heavy skillet. Add onion cooking until soft. Add ground beef and garlic. Cook until lightly brown. Stir in flour, salt, pepper and mushrooms. Cook for 5 mins. Add soup and simmer for 10 mins. Stir in sour cream and cook until heated through. Serve over egg noodles.
