3 lbs beef stew meat

1 large can (15 oz) diced tomatoes

1/2 – 1 bag baby carrots

2 medium onions, chopped

5 potatoes cut into chunks about the size of the meat.

1 T. Barley (optional – it thickens the stew)

1 T. flour

pepper to taste

Put meat into crock pot. Mix flour & pepper with water, stir well and pour over meat. Add remainder of ingredients. Cook on medium setting for 6 – 8 hours.
